Danny Joe Brown, Sr., A native of Florida, Born August 24, 1951, grew up in Jacksonville with his parents and three siblings. After high school, Danny served his country in the United States Coast Guard. Danny married twice, to Lynn and then to Crystle, which produced five beautiful children and two grandchildren. Danny's faith in God helped teach him to be the loving father that he was with his family. Danny valued his roles as son, brother, husband and father. Pursuing his life long love of music, Danny established a very successful career as a founder, singer, songwriter of the Molly Hatchet Band. Danny furthered his musical achievements with the release of his solo album, along with a number of Gold and Platinum albums. Danny's life was interrrupted by a severe stroke in 1998, yet his faith in God never faltered. He continued to be a beacon to his children, his family, and to the many lives that he touched. Danny passed away peacefully at home, March 10, 2005.
