Lissajous~Do (see product literature for additional detail and training requirements):
1. Proper instruction, conditioning and supervision are required for simulation training with Lissajous~Do Ryu Certified by Grand Master Roy Williams. Trainers must: be qualified for the course levels they are teaching; thoroughly evaluate training risks and participants, their roles, experience, physical and emotional conditions and equipment needs; set up, choreograph, and supervise each training session; be responsible for proper training procedures and risks posed by training environments and scenarios. Lissajous~Do is a training system; Lissajous~Do is not responsible for training systems, curricula or errors in other instructors applications.
2. Penchaku, are designed to accommodate martial arts weapons training conducted with approved foam practice weapons ONLY. Read full product warnings for safety guidelines regarding individual weapon training.
3. Rhythm Arts Instruments are sold for training only under expert supervision, CERTIFIED BY GRAND MASTER ROY WILLIAMS for demonstration of forms, collection, or display. Some weapons may be illegal in the user's area; user must research and follow state and local laws. Rhythm Arts is not responsible for improper or illegal modification of its weapons. Weapons training requires: appropriate safety gear, including head, face, eye, and mouth protection and other guards suitable for the particular weapon and techniques being practiced and a safe training environment set up to avoid injury to people or objects. To decrease chances of injury, user should respect weapon(s), inspect them before each use to ensure they are in proper condition and not use them for sparring or contact. Weapons will not be sold to anyone under 18 years of age. Rhythm Arts, recommends that instructors limit children and beginners to the use of foam rubber or foam covered practice weapons and/or wooden blades.
4. TRAINING EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES: Users should: consult physician before beginning an exercise program; train only under the supervision of a qualified instructor who ensures that equipment is in good condition and responsibly monitors students and drills; and know and respect their own limitations.
5. Training with Lissajous~Do. Proper instruction, conditioning and supervision are required for simulation training with Penchaku. Trainers must: be qualified for the course levels they are teaching; thoroughly evaluate training risks and participants, their roles, experience, physical and emotional conditions and equipment needs; set up, choreograph and supervise each training session; be responsible for proper training procedures and risks posed by training environments and scenarios; and stay abreast of changes in curricula, products, and product warnings and instrutions when these occur. The agency conducting simulation training is responsible for selecting qualified trainers, proper training procedures and risks posed by training environments and scenarios.
